Got a great new plant start setup this year! Tons of snapdragons, kale, lettuce, a few early tomatoes and basil, and lots more! I’m so excited!! Insulating at Edie’s during the day and transplanting & seeding at night (til almost 10pm!) I’m soooo excited for a small farm again this year.
About 21” so far here. So many trees down and branches on fences. We’re all exhausted but such a wonderful exhaustion 😂😩 #snow

Block printing will have to wait. Colored pencils are sharper than my linocut tools 😂 Happy February 🔥🔥
Trying to figure out the best way to resole these for @chasehillfarm . Not happy with how fast the natural rubber soles are wearing. So while I think, I’m drawing. It was -15 F this morning 🥶 so I had a nice back warm up by the fire with Milo and Kitty City. Thinking of trying a block print with this drawing - looking at @meg_t_justice_art for inspiration ❤️
So the left pattern made a bunny, can anyone guess what I’m hoping to make out of the right one? #carprojects #waldorfbunny #cashmere
Big big snowstorm today up on the hill ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Vermont house is coming along! We made a nice hearth with pigmented cement on rockwool (& metal lath in btwn).
9” of #rockwool insulation board and strapping- almost ready for the pine siding!
🍂working on this Linen jumper detail (back pocket)- maybe acorn & sticks on the front pockets?
Using @475.supply #adhero air-barrier, vapor-open membrane on the outside sheathing, then insulating with 9” of rockwool board on top and a final layer of sheathing on top of that! This is a super-super insulated house (also 3-4” blown cellulose on the inside!)
We’ll be making these super simple sandals at the upcoming #groundnutgathering in Montgomery, MA this October! Lots of other great workshops. See @leapfrogprograms for more info and to register even just for one of the days! Exceptional humans sharing ancestral skills ♥️🌻 #huaraches #handmadesandals #leathersolesandals
