Hello! Happy hot day! Hope you can find a cool steam or sparkling pool to sit in today, to keep cool!
It’s amazing to me that it’s June already! We’ll be open today (Saturday) 9 til 2 with fresh cut baby lettuce, heads of lettuce, arugula, mesclun/ cooking greens mix, kale, rhubarb, lemon balm (for tea).

We still have LOTS of plants, our heirloom tomatoes look great still in the 4″ pots, but the 6-packs are ready to go in! Cukes and zucc’s will be planted today if they are not sold. I’ll start a second batch of plants for next month planting out.
We have sacred basil (tulsi), calendula, spilanthes for medicinal herbs and many cooking herbs. A few hot peppers left – thai and matchbox.
The Shutesbury Farmers Market is going on too, 8:30 -12, so you can double up here and there before (or instead of) going to the Amherst Market! (Can you tell my life revolves around good food?) CASH only, thanks.
ps. We’ll take your plant trays back as well as 6-packs and 4″pots if you don’t need them. Those plant trays are valuable to us! thanks, sarah
Some Spring flowers…plus a baby cowbird (which saved a nest of baby phoebes)
