My girl in her new home 🥰 Just getting the #rockwoolinsulation insulation on the roof with #mento3000 (vapor permeable, air barrier) yesterday and today metal roofing is going on! It’s been amazing and exhausting but just so wonderful. And she’s gonna have a home at the end! (Edie: pics are slightly out of order 🤪) #vermontlife

Making roof truss number one! And cut 120 2x4 studs for the walls. Two boxes of scrap wood from all those studs to use in the cookstove. Foundation is ready for building on! All very exciting. River swims, a little sewing and newly waterproofed work shoes! #sogratefulforthislife #vermont
Made myself some work shoes, closed toe for the summer building project. Sewed on car rides to and from VT (Keith was driving lol) and on the bench outside the yurt. I wanted to see if this stiffer oil tan leather would work well for chukkas. Got a blister the first day so 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🩹 but I like em and they’ll hold up and protect me from the low grassy brambles on the land. Watched Milo (doggo) wait very patiently for a chipmunk 🐿 to come down the tree the WHOLE entire day (last pic). She never did catch it of course 😂
Lilac season 💜

More planting, more #gardenart . Early morning projects before heading to Vermont 🌱🪴☘️🌿🪴
Peas are in! 2 short rows (short for us~30ft each) including some for a friend. Planning on staking them and mulching in between, or maybe planting some oats in btwn… we’ll see where the inspiration takes me ☺️ This after a long work day on the land in Vermont and a drive home, and dinner… 🙄 so planted into dusk. So beautiful out and I’m so grateful for Spring 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺
Nice walk to the #quabbinreservoir with @ericajomoroney ! The water was so high! We saw a couple lions fly by but sadly no loon calls. Not sure why I don’t make it a priority to go here every single day 💗
Nice afternoon outside- so grateful for warm weather! Took down all last years tomato trellis’ and cleaned up the beds, ready for seeding carrots! Also fed the girls some apple branches 😌 #cows #farmlifebestlife
Last pair of sandals for awhile! Heading out today to their super human @savannahsapodin 🌺♥️💃🏻
Rose ghillies in dusty rose 🌹 ready to deliver 🌹
